President and CEO
As President and CEO Jim is the driving force behind TheraSigma’s success and is the primary designer and visionary for all our products. Jim has been in the electrotherapy industry over 10 years and has observed and studied the industry trends, acquisitions and constantly changing market conditions. Jim has been involved at practically every level of the business, from new product concept sketches on Outback Steakhouse napkins to directing photo shoots for new product photos to crafting distribution agreements with dealers around the globe.
Before entering the electrotherapy industry Jim started, ran and sold a custom door and molding company that provided materials to some of the finest custom homes in California. Jim’s manufacturing techniques revolutionized the door manufacturing industry and gave birth to an entirely new way of producing high quality custom doors. When Jim isn’t dreaming up a new product or marketing strategy he enjoys spending time with his wife and their 3 beautiful granddaughters.
Vice President of Technology
Steve splits his time between software and process development for the various applications and systems used by TheraSigma and new product research and development. As the resident NetSuite administrator a large amount of Steve’s day is spent keeping the staff up and running and working on ways to customize the system to better fit our ever evolving business requirements. Steve is the lead engineer for TheraSigma’s proprietary production management software, Manufacturing Studio which gives TheraSigma the edge when it comes to deeply integrated, small MOQ private label programs. Steve is cranky beyond his years but has been reported to be seen smiling when he thinks no one is around.
Steve was a 3D animator and “tools rigger” in the game industry for 8 years before changing careers to join his Father Jim in the electrotherapy and pain management industry. Just about every day Steve brings his best dog-friend “Chui” to work with him. Most of Steve’s recreational time is spent tinkering with side projects, camping and offroading in the Panamint and Death Valley area or working in his yard.
Joseph E. Jackson
Joe keeps our books in order, our suppliers happy with on time payments and our accounts receivables up to date. In addition to day to day finances Joe also manages payroll and our sales commissions system and payments and makes sure the sales team has the reports they need to see where their incentives are coming from. Joe has been instrumental in managing various banking and financial relationships both locally and with our partners abroad. Joe continues to educate many of us in the office with the virtues of GAAP and work closely with Steve Klett to configure and customize NetSuite to meet our financial reporting needs. Joe has more file cabinets and paper in his office than all the rest of us combined and don’t you even think about trying to take them away from him!
Our Commitment to Ongoing Product Innovation and Quality
As a product consumer ourselves, TheraSigma knows the importance of quality, value and performance in medical equipment. That’s why we never rest on our laurels, and our product development process never stops.
With the H.E.C.A.T., we’re ushering in a new era of performance testing with the hope that the quality levels of all electrodes will improve. More importantly, we will continue to test and refine Theratrode extensively to ensure it is—and will remain—the most exceptional electrode available on the market today. Our Quality Assurance managers have over 10 years combined experience in functional testing electrotherapy devices and accessories. We continue to ensure that absolutely every single device that we produce functions 100% correctly and exceeds our performance standards and requirements.
